As this event was on quite late the choir was represented by their older members. They sang fantastically with the choir from Stamfordham Primary School.
The children sang traditional songs such as Silent Night and Away in a Manger before joining with the Military Wives Choir to sing together.

They thrilled both staff and residents alike with a wonderful medley of Christmas songs. One resident commented that it made her very happy and that she had filled up with tears.
The children were very pleased to receive juice, cakes and a small party bag from the homes as a token of their gratitude.

The Choir did a fantastic job taking part in the ‘Songs of Praise’ at St. Cuthbert’s Church in Throckley.
They sang ‘My God is Great’ (with actions!) to a packed church and invited all of those attending to join in.
It was a great success and we hope to attend the next event in December.
Thank you to all parents who brought their children and attended the event.
